Outdoor Adventure Camp

The pinnacle of the camp experience: hone your skills and then take them OUTDOORS! Campers will spend each morning (Monday thru Thursday) improving their technical climbing abilities at Island Rock.  In the afternoons, campers will hike the Greenbelt Trail and learn advanced skills such as rappelling, ascending, knot tying and lead climbing.  On Friday, campers will climb and hike under the supervision of New York State Certified Rock Guides on an all day excursion to Allamuchy State Park.

Bouldering Hiking Zip Line 1 Day Of Outdoor Climbing

Age:    12 to 17 years                No experience necessary    Cost:   $500/ camper                Includes transportation to and from Allamuchy State Park                Includes all gear rental and camp t-shirt                Snack and drinks will be provided each day     Dates:  August 9-13                     * Registration will be limited                                                                           to 12 campers/ session.     Time:   9:00am-3:00pm (except Friday)

Island Rock and Roll Camp

Looking to mix it up? In this three day camp, campers will spend their morning mountain biking miles of quality single track on the Long Island Greenbelt trails. Campers will then return to Island Rock for an afternoon of technical climbing  and instruction.

Bouldering Mountain biking - single track - Long Island Greenbelt Basic Bike Maintenance

Age:    12 to 17 years                   Cost:   $250/ camper               Includes all rock climbing gear rental               Snack and drinks will be provided each day      Required: Some mountain bike experience                    A well maintained mountain bike and Snell approved helmut     Dates:  August 30-September 1 (3 days)     * Registration will be limited                                                                           to 12 campers/ session.     Time:   10:00am-3:00pm (except Friday)

Indoor Climbing Camp

Climbers of all ages and abilities aspire to be the best you can be!

All climbers will spend the week at Island Rock.
